MZANSI powerhouse Mome Mahlangu is back and she's not just serving looks, she's serving purpose.
After surviving a near-fatal stroke attack six years ago, the 42-year-old businesswoman has turned her pain into power with her brand-new fashion collection titled Renewal. And believe you me, this isn't just about clothes. It's about healing, growth and loving yourself again.
Mome, who made history as Mzansi's first reality TV star to headline three hit shows Cream Cartel, MoLove and Mo & Mome, said the health scare forced her to slow down and reflect.

Speaking to Daily Sun, Mome admitted that during her hiatus she realised she had neglected her wellbeing.
"I'm a creative. Above the passion for clothing, in my hiatus I learnt that I wasn't taking care of my wellbeing and my mental health as I should," she said.
"Late nights out, unhealthy eating, working under pressure and the party life took its toll on me. I have grown as a person and in business.
"My health scare awakened self-care. I had to recover and change my lifestyle immediately. I struggled to find healthy weight-loss solutions, so I decided to create a holistic wellness brand to assist those who don't have time for proper daily nutrition," she explained.
That journey gave birth to Momewellness, now stocked locally and internationally from Dubai to London and across parts of Africa.
Now, with Renewal, she's bringing that same message into the fashion scene.
"Renewal means everything I learnt in the past can be done differently from a healthy mind. The fabric showcases broken pieces used to create comfortable daily wear. From yoga sessions to lunch meetings or girls' night out, it's comfort that makes you feel renewed," she said.
From co-founding Boyznbucks to building an international wellness brand, Mome's mission is simple.
"My legacy is for women to know we're capable. We should explore our talents in any industry if we believe in ourselves. Even the sky shouldn't be the limit," she said.
