MZANSI top actors are not happy with the audtions held by Mandla N's production company.
This comes after Black Brain Pictures held auditions at the Bat Centre in Durban on Sunday, January 14.
The aspiring actors complained that they attended the auditions but were never given a chance to audition and accused the judges of treating them badly.
The aspiring actors who did not get a chance to audition took to Facebook to voice their concerns.
Wiseman Mncube and Mondli Makhoba have responded to the huge outcry from the aspiring actors.
Uzalo actor Wiseman (34) said: "Actors should be given a chance to showcase their talent, even if the judge thinks they are not what they're looking for because the chance can prove them wrong.
"Even if I see that you are not what I am looking for, I will give you a chance to show your talent.
"If I announce that I'm holding auditions for a particular production, and I need you to prepare a monologue, a dance or a poem, I should give you a chance to show what you have prepared, even if I see that you do not have the look, I am looking for but let me give you a chance to prove me wrong.

"This thing of saying I've been through this, and it needs to change now because when we went through it, it wasn't pretty, it hurt.
"Remember there is a person behind the applicant, so give that person a chance to show what you were looking for in the advert. I could be wrong, because I believe in real craft, not looks," he said.
Nikiwe actor Mondli (45) said: In auditions, sometimes it's enough to see the applicant, the applicant does not have to say anything.
"That's the reality. Auditioning is not easy. Just believe they know who they are looking for, and don't be offended if you're not," he said.
Director of Black Brain Pictures, Mandla N, said that in most cases, you can tell within a few seconds whether the candidate will take the next step or not.
