Taking to his Facebook, he shared his troubles with his passport photo.

TV and radio presenter Prince "Spitch" Nzawumbi has revealed that his dramatic weight loss has led to unexpected challenges.

The challenges include having to repeatedly explain that he is not stealing someone else's identity.

The 36-year-old Spitch, who is known for presenting SABC 1's show Yilungelo Lakho and Showmax's Unfollowed, previously relocated to Dubai, where he works in real estate.

Taking to his Facebook, he shared his troubles with his passport photo.

He said people are often confused when they see his passport photo, as it no longer closely resembles his current appearance.

As a result, he finds himself having to reassure officials and others that the document does, in fact, belong to him and that his changed look is simply due to significant weight loss.

Spitch, now based in Dubai, faces repeated questions about his identity during international travel.

"Not me being stopped at the airport in Oman and almost missing my flight because the lady said, 'Is this you?' I had to submit my Emirates ID for her to let me through," said Spitch.

He continued explaining about the incident.

"Do you know that thing of having to fight to prove that it's you. I told them to look again, trying also to make my face bigger. I don't want weight loss anymore," he said.

Spitch previously told Daily Sun that he has relocated to Dubai.

"I'm still very much based in Dubai. I flew down to South Africa to shoot and returned to my stable. South Africa will always be home, but home away from home is still Dubai."
