GOGO Selina Makhado no longer has a home and has been left destitute. And it's all over money for mopani worms!
This after her tenant allegedly burnt down her four-roomed mud hut in Doreen Farm outside Musina, Limpopo to ashes on Friday, 25 August.
The 67-year-old gogo, who is now forced to live with her niece along with her four grandchildren, said the man took some mopani worms from her on credit.
But instead of paying the gogo, the man allegedly insulted her and even burned down her house when she asked for her money.
"He first started by insulting me while holding a beer when I asked him to give me back my R40 for some mopani worms. He got angry at me because I was only asking for R40 out of the R100 he owes me.

"I then decided to ask my daughter who lives nearby to call the police for me. While I was still there, my grandchild came running to call me and we went back to find the huts on fire," she said.
She claimed that the suspect, who is originally from Hamanenzhe Village, allegedly threatened to burn her in the huts.
"I am now left with nothing but the clothes I was wearing as everything was destroyed, including clothes, furniture and important documents such as my grandchildren's identity documents," she said.
Gogo Selina said she would appreciate any form of help as she only relies on the Sassa grant.
Limpopo police spokesman, Colonel Malesela Ledwaba, said cops in Musina are investigating an arson case.
"The 26-year-old suspect has been arrested in respect of the case. He appeared before the Musina Magistrates Court on Tuesday, 29 August and the case has been remanded to Tuesday, 5 September for further investigation and a bail application," said Ledwaba.
