Another resident, Granny Manganye (45), said it's stinking and they will get diseases.
"Kak is chasing us away from our houses. We beg the municipality to fix this mess," she said.
Community leader Nditsheni Modau (48) said: "For the past three years, this has been happening in here. We need a storm water drainage system."
City of Tshwane spokesman Lindela Mashigo said: "The city has investigated the matter using the reference number provided. The service request relates to a blocked stormwater system, which is as a result of the recent rainfall.

"It's important to state clearly that illegal stormwater connections into the sewer network in this area are causing sewage overflows whenever it rains.
"The sewer system is not designed to carry stormwater, and this unlawful practice forces large volumes of rainwater into the pipes, leading to blockages and overflows. These incidents subside once the rain stops, confirming stormwater intrusion as the primary cause."
Mashigo said the city strongly condemns these illegal connections and urges residents to refrain from practices that compromise essential infrastructure and place households at risk.
Enforcement and technical teams will continue monitoring the area, and the roads and stormwater section has been alerted to the complaint.
