MYSTERY surrounds the death of a man whose body was found in a bush near a railway line.
Residents in Canelands, north of Durban made the shocking discovery while walking along the railway line on Monday, 20 April. They discovered a dead man, but it's not clear whether he was killed in the bush or somewhere else.
One of the residents, Nompumelelo Mkhathini told Daily Sun she was heading to the clinic when she came across a group of residents surrounding the dead man.
"I also went to see if I could recognise him, but I didn't. The other residents also didn't know who the man was. The problem is that we don't know how he ended up dead close to the railway line.
"Some residents suspect that he was killed there, while others suspect that he was killed somewhere else then his body dumped near the railway," she said.
