SOUTH African amputee dancer Musa Motha said he forgot his dancing shoe and a top, which he'dwear for his audition at Britain's Got Talent.
But he remembered his mother's teachings that everything happens for a reason.
He said this when he arrived at OR Tambo International Airport on Saturday, 8 July.
He said to make matters worse, he injured his shoulder before he was about to perform.
The multi-talented dancer said despite the distraction, he stayed focused and produced an amazing performance which stole hearts globally.
"One of the best things I do whenever I'm about to perform is pray. But at that time, I didn't get time to pray, but I kept my cool.
"I did my best to show the world that nothing is impossible," he said.
Dancer and choreographer Musa (27) said he has achieved everything in his lifetime.
He said he was happy with the support from his parents and everyone from local and international.

Musa's mother, Ntokozo Matale, was over the moon singing and shed a tear when she hugged her son.
"I'm so proud of my son. He has shown me and the world that anything is possible in life.
"Watching him performing in the semi-finals was the moment I will live to cherish.
"For him to reach the finals was a great achievement. He left a mark in the world with his outstanding performance," she said.
DR Stella Khumalo, Acting Director General at the Department of Sport, Arts, and Culture, told Daily Sun she was excited about Musa's achievement.
"We are happy as South Africans that we have so much talent in the country. We are proud of Musa and what he has done for us," she said.
Stella said she also loved how he represented the world with his dancing skills and won the judges as they even praised his work.
"Musa is now based in Britain, and we will be helping him with the right documents. We will be doing our best with what is needed," she added.
Sebakaleng Moeketsi, from Emfuleni Local Municipality, said she knew Musa through Vaal dance shows.
"This a great day for Mzansi as we welcome Musa, who never gave up against all odds.
"He went all out to pursue his dream of being the best dancer. I want the world to know it's never too late for any young person to follow their dreams," Moeketsi said.
