FORMER Idols SA-winner Yanga Sobetwa recently shared her thoughts on young marriage.
She stated that it's not a problem but certainly a challenge.
Speaking on the Engineer Your Life podcast, Yanga spoke about the importance of community support in navigating the journey.
The 24-year-old star became famous after winning Season 14th of Idols SA in 2018.
Recently, she tied the knot with Ntsako Khoza, who is also a musician.
The Cape Town-born star said marriage is about dying to self.
"Dying to self, as a lady or human being, is already difficult, so dying to serve someone else is more difficult. Marriage is a huge challenge, but God has blessed us with a community," said Yanga.
She said she and her husband met after she was heartbroken from another relationship.

"I think he played a big role in the healing process, God is intentional," she said.
She said when they started dating, she told him she wanted marriage.
"I said, my brother, you have two years to get yourself in order. I wanted to manage expectations from both sides."
Yanga said she had the convictions because of her faith.
"Abstaining is not easy. You have to do it for yourself. I don't see how people can date for a long time and still do it in a Godly way. If you do it that way, there has to be a set time and expectations to where you are going," she said.
She explained what Godly dating is.
"I'm not an expert and I'm only married once. I can't tell you what Godly marriage is, but it is more like courtship than dating. We did it God's way though there were failures along the way," she said.
