FORMER president Jacob Zuma surprised maskandi star Limit Nala by attending his celebration.
Limit (26) from Zuma's village in KwaNxamalala, Nkandla, recently won a Toyota Quantum, beating more than 29 top maskandi singers at the Mother of All Maskandi Festival on 5 April.
On Sunday, 13 April, he celebrated his remarkable achievement with Nkandla residents in the northern KZN.
During the festivities, he proudly displayed his new taxi branded with his name, "Limit."
The event was held at Ntolwane Primary School, just a few kilometres from Zuma's home, where the former president regularly casts his vote during elections.
Zuma appeared at the celebration to congratulate the young talent from his village, saying he couldn't stay home and miss such an important occasion.
"I attended the celebration because I heard that there's a young man who has amazing powers to do amazing things for the youth.
"I told myself that there's no way that I should not be part of it because I'm still a youth. Aging is a choice," he said.

Limit, who recently released his single Uvume Kanjani, thanked those who supported him and attended his celebration.
"I want to thank the support. It's my first event happening in my village and I thank all my guests who attended this celebration.
"I thank former president Jacob Zuma for gracing this celebration. It means a lot to me," he said.
The celebration was attended by top maskandi musicians, including those who had competed against Limit during the Mother of All Maskandi Festival.
Maskandi star Menzi Mabizela UMnambithi, who was the runner-up, also attended and performed during the celebration.
