DURBAN-BORN DJ Warras is no stranger to the spotlight.

At 39, the former Live AMP star and ManCave host has built an impressive career as a TV presenter, podcaster, and entrepreneur.

From dropping beats to running his own security company, Warras, real name Warrick Stock, is always up to something. But now, he's stepping into something juicier - reality TV!

Mzansi Magic is turning up the heat with Ngicel'iVisa, a bold new reality show hosted by DJ Warras.

Premiering on 7 October, the show promises to shake up Tuesday nights like never before.

Ngicel'iVisa takes a daring twist on love, giving couples a chance to explore unresolved feelings - with their exes or secret crushes.

For those unfamiliar, "iVisa" is kasi slang for asking permission to step out of a relationship for a bit and this show takes it to the next level.

Be it a marriage proposal in limbo or hesitation about moving in, Ngicel'iVisa tackles those big, scary relationship questions most couples avoid.

One night with a crush or ex could change everything - will love conquer all, or will it be game over?

Each 24-minute episode is packed with drama, jaw-dropping revelations and emotional turning points that will have viewers glued to the screen. The buzz is already building up on social media, with fans eager to see what the show has in store.

"I decided to buy into Ngicel'iVisa because I loved the format," said Warras.

But Warras wants to make one thing clear.

"We're not in the business of making trash TV. We've done our research and formatted the show in line with what people actually want to see. What's happening on Ngicel'iVisa could easily happen to you or me - it's real life!"

Warras admits hosting the show has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

"This show has taken me across South Africa, immersing me in different cultures and traditions. I've learned so much about how relationships are influenced by these factors," he shared.

And his hands-on approach helps him connect with participants on a deeper level.

When he's not playing Cupid - or stirring the pot on Ngicel'iVisa - Warras has his plate full.

He's the proud owner of a security company that handles VIP and building protection and has made several guest appearances on Podcast and Chill with MacG.

However, one thing the former DJ is leaving in the past? Radio.

"Radio isn't for presenters like me anymore. I've tasted freedom since I left. Podcasts let you say what you want - no filters."

Drama, heartbreak, and laughter - Ngicel'iVisa serves it all.

And with DJ Warras as your host, prepare for a wild ride that'll leave you on the edge of your seat.
