His love of African culture has made him point out mistakes on the practice of culture and tradition.
Now Mbuso Khoza has taken a decision to correct these mistakes and wrong information about culture through a play titled Ihubo.
The play will be staged at The Playhouse Company on Saturday, 17 December.
The 70-year-old artist from Eshowe, northern KZN, said that he had witnessed even the self-proclaimed cultural experts giving the wrong teachings about culture to children.
"What I have noticed is that people don't do their research.
"Most of them feed young kids poison.
"It's painful, hence I decided to provide the right teachings through theatre," said Khoza.
He added that he understood that such teachings could be boring for youth, that's why he conduct them through threatre, which is highly entertaining

He said Ihubo features Ijadu Le Afrika, a youth cultural group he has founded.
He is also involved in different cultural activities.
"Youth has information about African culture and tradition, but most of the information is wrong.
"Sometimes you would hear a man calling himself ibutho (warrior), not knowing that an individual can't be ibutho.
"Ibutho is a group of men, and amabutho (warriors) are different groups of men guarded by cultural values.
"We must be careful not to mislead our youth with false information," said Khoza.
