His lifestyle choices still shock many in Mzansi

HAVING been a stripper for three years now, Daddy Dom is no stranger to controversy.

His lifestyle choices still shock many in Mzansi.

The reality TV star, whose real name is Mothobi Rapuleng (26), surprised many by revealing that he is polyamorous.

Daddy Dom from Florida Glen in Roodepoort told Daily Sun he's has two partners, Sasha and Thando.

In the latest episode of their reality show, Chocolate Kings, which airs on Showmax, he said he's planning to marry them on the same day.

"I've always loved women. It feels like I've been a polygamist all the time. From high school, I'd always have multiple girlfriends. They would find out but still be okay with it. However, I never took it seriously until I became older. I'm an introvert. I'm only out there when I'm with my friends. But when I'm with women, I feel comfortable. Even when I was growing up, I always played with girls. I think that speaks to my being a polygamist. It's always been in me.

"We're looking for more partners. The limit is four wives. I haven't married Sasha and Thando yet, but they have been introduced to my family. My family knows I want to be a polygamist. We are planning on getting married," he said.

Daddy Dom has been a stripper for three years and as much as he enjoys his job, he said it comes with challenges.

"I've always been an artistic person doing music and dancing. When I came into this, I found two things challenging. The first thing was making money, especially when you start working. At first, you don't get any money because people don't know you and you don't have clients. Being a stripper requires that you buy costumes and spend money. It's difficult to start with no money.

"The second challenge is dealing with promoters and people who book us. They sometimes want to underpay us and I find that challenging," Daddy Dom said.

What also shocked Mzansi was him revealing that he incorporates BDSM (a variety of sexual practices that include bondage, discipline, dominance, submission and sadism) into his dancing.

"I was introduced to it when I was 16 years old. My girlfriend, at the time, was older than me and liked it, so I also got into it. After we broke up I continued with it," he said.
