CONGRALUTIONS are in order for Lungi Naidoo!
This as the singer and songwriter is expecting twins.
The 43-year-old from KwaDukuza in KZN told Daily Sun she's had a high-risk pregnancy, which hasn't been easy.
She said after three miscarriages and just pure sadness, she thanks God that her prayers were answered. Last year the Feel Good hitmaker married the love of her life, Karl Anderson.
The musician said to be pregnant now at the age of 43 brings her joy, peace and happiness she can't even describe.
"Getting pregnant at 17 years old allowed me to grow up with my daughter. I have always longed to have more children but when I had my fibroids removed in 2012, all hope went out the window," Lungi said.
Lungi said she was grateful that God had been great to her.
"I've learnt that God will surprise you when you least expect it. That sometimes we think our happiness and fulfilment in life is in our careers and it's not," she said.
The musician said she had released a children's album called Rainbow Nation Kids in July 2023. She said she had been doing a school tour.

"I had to cancel my tour because of the risks of miscarriage, so I will only do it next year. This is because this pregnancy was my highest priority," said.
The musician said she will be back in full force in 2024 with a school tour, visiting 10 schools in iLembe district, KZN.
"To any young person who looks up to me, please always put yourself first. Protect what's important to you, keep God close and always know that what's meant for you will come to pass," she said.
The musician said they mustn't give up on themselves.
