THE family of Morongwa Mootane (27), who was brutally murdered, finds it hard to deal with her death.
This is because sensitive photos of forensic pathology officials digging up her remains from a shallow grave are doing the rounds on social media.
This has caused the family from Ga-Sekgopo Village outside Modjadjiskloof in Limpopo more pain and making it difficult for them to come to terms with the loss.
Family spokesman Prince Marutha told Daily Sun the photos have caused additional trauma to the family as they're trying to cope with the tragedy.
"The photos started making rounds on social media on Wednesday, 7 August. They've traumatised some family members who were on a path to healing. They're now worse than before," Prince said.

He said the family is pleading with the public to stop circulating the photos.
"We're appealing to the public to respect the family's feelings and help the healing process. We ask all those who circulated and shared the photos to take them down and allow the family to mourn in peace."
He added that the family is also shocked because they thought the photos were in the possession of the police.
"We're trying to find the person who shared them," he said.
Morongwa was brutally murdered allegedly by her 27-year-old male friend, who allegedly buried her body in a shallow grave.
The body was found on Wednesday, 31 July, after the friend allegedly pointed out where he had buried her.
Morongwa will be buried on Saturday, 10 August.
Some of her friends have also organised a Sunday soul session at a local tavern on Sunday, 11 August in her memory, as she loved attending the sessions.
