KING Misuzulu shocked the nation after he fired his spokesperson and the Ingonyama Trust Board chairman, Inkosi Thanduyise Mzimela.
The King's new spokesman will be traditional prime minister Rev Thulasizwe Buthelezi, while the King chairs the Ingonyama Trust board.
The letters of dismissal were signed by King Misuzulu on Monday, 12 February.
When the new traditional prime minister, Rev Thulasizwe Buthelezi, addressed the media for the first time a few weeks ago, he made it clear that the King had instructed that there would be no communication on behalf of the King.
But Prince Africa released a statement against Rev Thulasizwe, saying all communication will be under the Royal House Communication and Stake Holder department, headed by him.
In a letter written by King Misuzulu to Prince Africa, he said he removed him as head of communication and stakeholder relations with immediate effect.

"This letter serves as formal notice that I, King Misuzulu kaZwelithini, hereby terminate your appointment as the Head of Communication and Stakeholders Relations to my office and myself with immediate effect.
"I furthermore hereby revoke any powers granted to you by me in your role as my spokesman and royal agent, which includes the powers to ensure that such communications and stakeholders' relations are managed officially and effectively on my behalf and the behalf of the Royal family and the Zulu nation," he said.
In a letter, the King said all commutations on his behalf and the royal family would be co-ordinated, managed and authorised by the traditional prime minister.
It's not the first time King Misuzulu axed Prince Africa. The King also axed him on his coronation committee in 2022 when he verbally fought with the late Prime Minister Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.
King Misuzulu said he had been trying to give Inkosi Mzimela a dismissal letter since 2023, but he kept ducking and diving.
"For a final time, you're hereby demanded to immediately cease acting as the chairperson of the Ingonyama Trust Board as you have no authority to act as such," he said.
What confused and shocked many was that when the late Prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi rejected the appointment of Inkosi Mzimela last year and ordered King Misuzulu to fire him, King Misuzulu refused.
Prince Mangosuthu further said if King Misuzulu didn't remove Inkosi Mzimela, he would not sign an affidavit in court as King Misuzulu was battling with Prince Simakade over the throne and King Misuzulu was still refused.
Prince Africa told Daily Sun that he would address the nation on Thursday, 15 February, about his dismissal letter and all other events behind the scenes.
Daily Sun contacted Inkosi Mzimela, but his phone rang unanswered.
