RESIDENTS are happy after they finally received clean running water.
This after the residents of Seshego extension 71, outside Polokwane, Limpopo spent more than three months without water.
The water crisis resulted in many protests.
Daily Sun published one of their stories on 16 September, headlined: "We're paying for mahala!" and on 29 September with the headline: "Tempers run high over dry taps."
Some of the residents said they had to rely on water tankers, while others bought water from those with boreholes.

The shortage of water was mainly caused by power dips or tripping from both the Ebenezer and Olifantspoort water schemes.
The challenges were worsened by mechanical failures with the pump stations.
Life will now go back to normal.
"We will now bath, wash our clothes and drink clean water," We have been struggling for a long timesaid Norah Maela (32).
Other residents said they were happy the water is back as their businesses relied mainly on water.
Michael Lidzhegu (45), who builds houses, said: business was slow during the past three months."It was a struggle to survive because I needed water to build houses." I'm glad the water is back." and I will be able to work and earn a living. I hope the situation will stay this way because our businesses suffer when there is no water," said Michael.
