ACTRESS Sonia Mbele is upset about people's claims that she had a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL).
On Wednesday, 25 October, a video of her circulated on social media where people assumed she bought a new body.
This was her first outing since she stood court up twice on 26 September and 5 October, where she and Real Housewives of South Africa (Pty) Ltd (Rhosa), directors Yolisa Gqunta and Rebone Sesing, were facing 41 counts of various charges related to tax evasion.
She missed court twice and eventually showed up for the third appearance on Friday, 20 October.
She has also been silent on social media, especially Instagram, which she uses frequently.
When she didn't attend the first two court appearances, she sent a medical certificate and released a statement saying she was struggling with a work burnout that turned chronic.
When people saw the video, they claimed that she got a BBL, and that's the reason she couldn't attend court because it was healing.
But the 46-year-old Sonia didn't take claims lying down.

Her management team told Daily Sun that she's always had a big bum, and it's not new.
"If you do your homework, you'll know Sonia has been in and out of hospital since May. Everyone knows it takes six weeks, if not less, to heal from a procedure like BBL.
"Sonia's butt had its own Facebook page at some point. This is not new," they said.
They further revealed that she wasn't showing up in court because been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease.
"This is a serious debilitating chronic disease that shouldn't be taken lightly or as a form of amusement," they said.
