MEDIA personality Andile Ncube is officially building the home of his dreams.
The 43-year-old Metro FM presenter recently shared a video tour of his stunning mansion-in-progress on his YouTube channel, opening up about the highs and lows of the process and expressing both joy and gratitude.
In the video, Andile said he is "very happy" with how the house is turning out, giving fans a glimpse into a deeply personal milestone that he has worked hard to achieve.
He revealed that the journey hasn't been without challenges and spoke candidly about a costly mistake he made during the early stages of construction.
"I made a mistake and it's the most costly mistake I've ever made. Anybody that's building your house can only advise you, at the end of the day it's your house and you make a decision. When my contractor said they need to do my slab, they gave me the costing for it. I said I'm going to try and see if I can get better costing. I did and they said it wasn't a good idea," he said.

That decision ended up costing him a significant amount of money.
"It's been two to three months since then, things have changed. I've picked myself up, admitted to my losses because I was the one at fault," he said.
Andile admitted to losing R100 000 due to working with people he had sourced independently. Despite the setback, he remains optimistic and proud of how far the project has come.
"I'm very happy right now and it's all coming along," he said.
He plans to continue sharing updates and behind-the-scenes moments of the journey on his YouTube channel, offering both inspiration and lessons for others who may be building their dream homes.
