DARLENE Mofokeng (26) from Soshanguve, Tshwane, formerly known as a Barcadi musician, dancer and reality TV star, is seeking acceptance from society after dedicating her life to Christ.
Known by her stage name, Darling The Pandemic, she expressed her desire for people to look beyond her past as an exotic dancer and stripper.
"I've become a member of the Apostolic Faith, where I was baptised earlier this year. I've accepted Christ and turned away from my previous life due to dreams and other reasons I've mentioned," she told Daily Sun.
Darling The Pandemic, who became famous on Moja Love, has made significant changes in her life, including adopting practices that respect her body's privacy.
She revealed that her decision to quit stripping was influenced by her partner's discomfort with her job and the bullying her older child faced as a result of her career.
