Musa Mseleku shocks fans

A RENOWNED Mzansi polygamist and businessman's now considering acting.

Musa Mseleku brought an unexpected twist to Mzansi Magic's MyBrother's Keeper on Friday, 30 August.

In a surprising crossover, viewers witnessed Mseleku, known for his role in Mnakwethu, make a guest appearance on MyBrother's Keeper.

The KZN-based reality TV star expressed his willingness to take on acting roles under one condition: the production must respect the name he has built over the years.

Mseleku emphasised that his participation in any production hinges on this respect.

"I've told all productions that if they honour the Mseleku name, I'll consider participating. But if they want to give me a different name, it becomes very difficult. In this particular production, they respected my name, which is why I agreed to do it," Mseleku stated.

When asked about taking acting classes to refine his skills, Mseleku explained that everything comes naturally to him, especially since the role was closely related to his reality TV experience.

"I think it comes naturally because the appearance was connected to my reality show, Mnakwethu, which I do every day. The only difference is that the lines were written down, but I told them I'd give them more than what they asked for," he explained.

As for the future of his acting career, Mseleku said: "As long as productions respect my name, it's possible. But if they don't, I won't do it. I've built this name outside of my reality TV show. I cannot be someone else. Acting is fiction, but reality is a true reflection of my life,"

Despite his busy schedule, Mseleku revealed he has plenty of time to manage his various responsibilities.

"I sit on three governing bodies because I ensure that wherever my children are, I'm also present. My businesses function whether I'm there or not. I don't limit anything to revolve around me. I also allow my wives to take on roles if I know they'll do it perfectly because I don't want anything to stand still when I'm not around," he said.
