MUSICIAN Zandie Khumalo received backlash and was even criticised when she was recently referred to as a "public figure" when she applied not to have her testimony broadcast live during Senzo Meyiwa's murder trial.
But instead of letting this get her down, she has titled her third upcoming album, The Public Figure, on which she will spill the beans about the pain she's been feeling since Senzo's death in 2014.
"I felt a lot of pain when I was exercising my democratic right by applying for my testimony not to be broadcast live. Other people felt they were entitled to say whatever they wanted to say about my name when they called me a public figure," she told Daily Sun.

She said social media users thought they were burying her, but they didn't realise that they were planting her.
"What they planted is growing now and I will tell all the pain in my next album. I still have to decide whether it will be an EP or full album as I have not released an album in a long time," she said.
Zandie released the single Amatshe on Friday, 2 June, which encourages men to pay lobola and get married instead of living with their women out of wedlock.
"The song is taken from the Zulu idiom called 'sizobala amatshe', meaning counting stones instead of paying lobola. My upcoming album will have many surprises; it is produced by Xowla, but I will not mention the artists I featured because I want it to be a surprise," she said.
Zandie will be back in court on Monday, 12 June.
