SHARON Mathebula-Dhlamini is worried about her husband who is still trapped underground in a mine.
While scores of workers at GoldOne's Modder East mine in Springs, Ekurhuleni, returned to the surface on Wednesday, 25 October after spending three nights underground, her husband did not emerge.
Sharon, who is also from Springs, said her husband is still held underground and she was panicking.
The 35-year-old said her husband had doubts about going to work on that fateful Sunday.
She said: "I think he felt something bad would happen. I was feeling nervous when I heard he's still underground. Our two-year-old daughter has been asking about him, crying and wanted him to come back home."

Sharon said she wished the situation would be resolved and all the people who are still underground be released.
The chief executive officer of GoldOne mine, Jonathan Hericourt, revealed that at least 200 of the 540 miners have been freed.
"A large group of them have started to come to the surface. We don't know what's happening with the rest of the people," he said.
Members of the Association of Mineworkers and Construction Union (Amcu) allegedly held workers underground after the night shift ended on Monday because of a dispute with a rival union.
