HE began selling his atchaar on the street in his three-piece suit.
Now he has upgraded to selling it at a shopping mall.
Chairman Atchaar, whose real name is Irvin Mashele (43), launched his atchaar stand at Jubilee Mall this week.
He told Daily Sun that selling atchaar on the streets has helped him grow a lot.
"God used atchaar so that people could come to me. God knew I could talk to people and give them motivational words," he said.
He said he is looking forward to the launch.
"For me, this is a great achievement, and I am grateful for it," he said.
He said he has started branding his atchaar so people could recognise it.
"I want my atchaar to be on the shelves of some of the best stores in South Africa," he said.

He said he was inspired by a businessman who likes to give back to the community.
"When I went to this man's events, he inspired me to make a difference. I figured I could do the same and help," he said.
The chairman said he also empowers women by giving them buckets of atchaar so they can start a business.
"The reason I chose to support women is because many of them are disadvantaged. Women are more vulnerable than men.
"Some of them have kids and it's hard for them to start a business because they focus on their kids," he said.
