SANGOMA fights to get out of jail.
Ntombi Nxumalo appeared in the Tsakane Magistrates Court on Monday, 9 March, desperate to appeal her denied bail.
But for the family of her slain partner, Lizzie Mashaba, the only thing they want is for Ntombi to rot behind bars.
Ntombi is accused of strangling Lizzie to death in January 2026 after accusing her of cheating.
The horror began at 8.14pm when Ntombi allegedly called Lizzie's family claiming they were arguing because a "drunk" Lizzie wanted to leave late at night.
Lizzie's sister, Siphiwe Mashaba, could hear her sister in the background, rubbishing the sangoma's lies and demanding to go home.

But by 12.40am, the situation turned chilling.
Lizzie's mum, Maria Mashaba received another call from the sangoma. This time, the news was terrifying.
"She told me she had tied my daughter up. My daughter was crying for help in the background. I begged the woman to untie her and let her go, but she didn't," said Maria.
Siphiwe claims the sangoma tried to spin a web of lies to the cops, telling them Lizzie had simply collapsed.
"She could have gotten away with it. But we told the police she had called our mum to say she tied her up. I'm happy my sister is fighting to keep her in jail. We want justice," said Siphiwe.
The case has now been moved to the Tsakane Regional Court, where the bail appeal will be heard on 30 March.
The Mashaba family said they are pleased with progress so far.
"We want her to pay for what she did to Lizzie," they vowed.
