NOWADAYS people don't have to travel distances to consult a sangoma.
They can follow them on social media and find out what their future has in store for them.
But some people still believe in the traditional way of doing things.
And that has caused traditional healer Basetsana Mogale, popularly known as Modern Khehla, to get trolled by social media users.
This after the 23-year-old model and influencer from Mabopane, Tshwane, gave a reading to one of her followers on TikTok during her live video.
Modern Kehla told Daily Sun she usually helps her followers when they have spiritual problems.
"I was prophesying someone on TikTok, which I have been doing on Instagram Lives. People normally ask for it because I've helped people through that as people would approve spiritual messages from me and indeed see changes after that," she said.
In the video, a follower asked her to do a reading on her studies.

"The message that I told her was that her studies are affected by a person, and her last name starts with M. The person prophesied on TikTok approved and acknowledged the message as something they have always known," she said.
She said she doesn't mind working over the phone and does face-to-face consultations.
"I do have private face-to-face consultations, but the people helped online don't even pay, but they are just made aware of what is happening," she said.
She said the testimonies always push her to help more people.
"The testimonies keep me going because I receive good news daily from those I have helped and those that buy my products," she said.
Many people had a lot to say about her online consultations.
Paballo Maseko said TikTok izangoma are so fake.
