'I won't run,' says Mogotsi

Thabo Bester, Dr Nandipha Magudumana and their co-accused are expected back in the Free State High Court for a pre-trial hearing on Friday, 28 August 2026.

The disciplinary action follows the 2025 arrests of eight officials at the 1 De Villiers Street office on fraud-related charges.

"The four accused are linked to the acquisition of three irregular tenders that amount to R30 billion in total."

RAF chief executive officer Collins Letsoalo said the fund remains alert and investigates each case as it arises.

"This suspension, Parliament believes, is crucial for maintaining the integrity of the institution and ensuring an impartial process."

The organization has arranged for counseling to help them cope with the trauma.

Since 2019, the employee has been sitting at home.

They complain about outstanding payments and not being employed permanently after working for the city for three years.
